Turbo Muffler Delete to give a version that now fits the MAF-engine 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.3B vehicles.

WHAT THE TURBO MUFFLER DELETE DOES.
Our Turbo Muffler Delete is a sleek single billet design which replaces the restrictive, power-robbing compressor outlet with a smooth, turbulence free air path exiting the turbo.

The standard part is located on the outlet of the turbo compressor and is simply designed to reduce engine bay acoustics.

Whilst it subdues the harmonic noises generated by the turbo, it also adds in disruptive turbulence to the airflow right where you don’t want it.

By replacing the standard part with our maximum diameter Turbo Muffler Delete, you’ll replace this unwanted restriction with a smooth CFD-developed uninterrupted air path.

The result: noticeably better boost response giving a little more power and throttle reaction, all the while being able to actually hear your turbo working.

HOW TO TELL IF A CAR IS ‘MAF’

The 2.0TSI EA888 Gen.3B ‘Miller cycle’ engines (all producing around 190ps) are becoming ever more popular across the VWG range – often replacing the previous 1.8TSI engines.

As these engines now use a Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF), they require a different version of the R600 intake (VWR12 G7R602) and the Turbo Inlet Hose (VWR12 G7R602ITBLA), so this Turbo Muffler Delete (VWR160001) now completes the Intake Package for these engines.

It’s easy to check your car. Does it have this sensor and wiring shown in the picture? That’s the MAF sensor, so make sure you get the correct Turbo Muffler Delete, R600 and Turbo Inlet Hose.
